Light and Air is a Brooklyn-based architecture studio with a primary focus on residential design, as well as cultural projects. The practice believes architecture is most impactful when it is elemental—shaped by the essential qualities of light, materiality, and space. Through a thoughtful and adept approach, the studio creates dynamic spaces that enrich daily life in meaningful and unexpected ways. Rooted in Shane Neufeld’s background as a painter, its work brings an artful sensibility to the relationship between the built environment and the natural world.
